Kevin E. Smith of Details a Design Firm was selected to represent Southern California at Kravet Inc.’s National Design Educational Experience in London December 4 – 8, 2016, meeting with some of the visionaries behind global luxury brands.
The Design Educational Experience included a week of private tours and exclusive access to the world-renowned archives of the V&A museum, G.P. & J. Baker, famed private clubs and included a presentations by English interior designer Nicky Haslam; breakfast with Elle Décor’s UK editor; tours of the GP&J Baker Studio, the Tower of London, Blythe House Archive at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Knole House in Seven Oaks, Mulberry Fashion Studio and the National Gallery; and coffee with Martina Mondadori Sartogo, the founder of the cult design magazine, Cabana and style spy for Town and Country, at her London home.
Kevin traveled with the editor of Veranda Magazine, Kravet President; Gary Kravet, Kravet Vice President; Lisa Kravet, Kravet Vice President; Cary Searle and 17 other Interior Designer from the United States as well as other dignitaries.
